Berkeleyparks, owners and operators of 44 Residential Park Home Developments in the U.K., recently received 7 further awards from David Bellamy.
The Conservation Awards are run in conjunction with the British Holiday and Home Park Association. They are designed to reward residential parks for their contribution and commitment to the protection and enhancement of the natural environment in respect of the management of their parks.
The scheme is warmly welcomed and increasingly recognised by Government Ministers, Planners, Policymakers and Tourist Boards.
Parks are assessed on a number of factors :
the cultivation of flora and fauna, the creation of habitats designed to encourage a variety of wildlife on to the park, recycling and waste management policies. Links with the local community and the use of local materials and craftsmen are also considered.
Park Owners Berkeleyparks operate 44 Residential Park Home Developments throughout 20 counties of England and Wales.
Paul Tarr, Berkeleyparks Sales & Marketing Director, told us :
We have been developing Park Home living for 53 years. There are approximately 1,000 Residential Parks throughout the UK, and Berkeleyparks with 44 parks and some 10,000 residents are Britain's largest Park Home Operator. We are absolutely delighted that once again our Fell View Park in Gosforth, Cumbria; New Park in Bovey Tracey, Devon; Shepherds Grove Park, Nr. Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk, and Turners Hill Park, Nr. Crawley, Sussex, have received four of the few Gold Awards to be made to residential parks this year, Gladelands Park in Ferndown, Dorset, and Temple Grove Park, Nr. Chelmsford, Essex, received a Silver Award, and our Honicombe Park, Nr. Callington, Cornwall, a Bronze Award.
We are very proud of these prestigious awards and our special thanks goes to our park residents and local management teams for their achievements.
